About ID Photo Maker

ID Photo Maker is a free tool for making passport, visa and ID photos. It crops your photo to the official size, checks the head size, replaces the background, and lays out a sheet of copies you can print anywhere.

To remove the background, your photo is sent to our server, processed in memory, and discarded immediately — it is never stored. Everything else runs in your browser. The site is completely free, with no ads or sign-up required.

We do our best to keep the size requirements accurate, but governments change their rules. Check the official requirements before you submit a photo. We cannot guarantee that a photo will be accepted.
